gvisit

Wednesday, February 15th, 2006

well its been about a week using gvist (see a few posts back),,, It seems to work pretty well. No surprises that the most visits are coming from the US, but I have been pleasently surprised with the spread of the visits, China seems to consistantly appear, so the firewall mustn’t be an issue there. I thought there may have been a few more Australian hits, but not to worry. Someone from Toronto, Ontario seems to be a regular visitor lately.

Elgato eyeTV for DTT

Tuesday, February 14th, 2006

My brother-in-law just got an eyeTV for DTT and let me have a bit of a play with it on a G4 Laptop. I must say that I am extemely impressed, the quality was great, the installation was simple, and it doesnt max out the CPU like I thought it would. It’s such a great result from such a little box. If you want to watch/record tv on your mac, this little guy is the goods.
