It was a big week at work this week with the launch of ABC News 24. You can check out the page we built with it streaming here abc.net.au/abcnews24. (Australian IP only) All went well at our end thanks to some smart guys who sorted the streaming out.
I like the new look of the ABC News 24 channel, which has also rolled out across the state news titles. Was great to take it into the website design as well.
Launched a new site that I did for a friend last week for his company called The Directors Chair. I ended up using the new version of WordPress with the Tiger Admin from orderedlist and also incorporated sifr into the site. Ended up OK, the sifr technique took a bit of frigging around with to get it right, but I think it works well.
This is a pretty funny site, it has a lot of video so you will need a broadband connection. In doing some work around the house, the resident Handyman shows how NOT to accomplish the task.
I launched a site this morning that is entirely flash based for Kelly Black, (hope you’re happy Lee). I will have to monitor the bandwidth closely because it has lots of audio and some video, but check it out and let Kelly know if you like it.
